- Right now I'm on the fence on if I'm going to take an extended break from this site. I've got a wbesite for the kid, a new ND® Studios blog and SKATEDAILY. I'm sort of ' blogged out' at this point.

- On thing I will say...every spare moment I can listen to music I've got the new Dillinger Escape Plan album on. Reviews have been mixed, with some purists not liking it, but I really love it. Yes, it's not all technical, fast, pummeling math core...but that's fine by me. There have been many Faith No More comparisons and I have to agree. But that's a GOOD thing. The newer songs are great and the rock progression makes sense to me. Worth every penny. I wish they were playing near me.

I do have to say I was stunned that their unbelievable drummer Chris Pennie left to join Coheed And Cambria. What the hell? Really? Bummer. Their new drummer is super good...check the video, towards the end.

- If you've sent me an email in the past week or so and I haven't responded, I'm sorry. Family visits, kid time and not much sleep happening at this point. And I'm trying to get back into the office to keep the diapers paid for.

- I finally got the MASH DVD/Book in the mail over the weekend. Pretty interesting stuff. The design of, and photos in the book are great. Really high quality production and all that. Sharp. As for the film...it's pretty good. Although I'm not sure how into I would be if I wasn't really familiar with the streets of San Francisco. It's basically dudes riding really fast down steep ass hills and through crazy tight traffic. Luckily the silly skid stunts and Quicksilver tricks are kept to a minimum. I mean, that stuff is hard to do...but if you want to do tricks get a BMX or skate. The highlight is the filming itself. How the hell did Gabe get those shoots between buses? How did he keep up with crazy fast bicylces? His 'extra' part sheds some light, but it's still baffling. And as I mentioned, the city looks beautiful. I'm glad I'll be visiting in December. It was hard to watch on Sunday while the rain was falling...

I've hated Gene Simmons for some time, but this interview quote makes him even more of an asshole in my eyes. Talk about being WAY more in it for the money than the for fans. Douche.

For the record I was always an Ace man. And Love Gun is still good.

For some reason I forgot about Sinéad O'Connor for a while. In my later high school days I was a HUGE fan...and many people at that time thought I was crazy. I've been listening to her a few times a week now for over 7 months.

'The Lion and the Cobra' should be in my top 50 records...and 'I Do Not Want What I Haven't Got' isn't far behind. After 'Am I Not Your Girl? ' I sort of feel off a bit, those three are crucial.

I recently used the Netflix to check out 'Year of The Horse/Value of Ignorance' DVD. I had a ticket to the 1990 'Year Of The Horse' tour back then and couldn't go due to a family trip. Man, I missed the hell out. Amazing.

Ian Porter...born at 8:39am, November 7th. 7lbs, 5 ozs. Mom and baby are both in perfect health.

I'm not to into throwing much up on the net about the kid, but a special site will be set up for those in the know. Email me a request and I'll get you the info.

Now I'm going to try to sleep.
