Lots of bicycle riding this weekend.

On Saturday night we rode into town and checked out the Starlight Parade. Eh. Although low quality floats and way too many hippies made for some laughs. Let's hope the Grand Floral parade is better.

Any city that has a low priced amusement park within bike riding distance is all right by me. Oak Park looks pretty great.

Thanks to everyone who wished me a Happy Birthday last week. An extra thanks to those who hung out on Friday and got all Funtastic.

- Well, it seems that Jeremy Enigk’s new solo album will be out this summer just in time for an east coast tour. He’s also be playing at Lollapalooza (?!) and Bumbershoot. Where the hell are the west coast tour dates? I’m not too excited about traveling to some crummy festival.

- Morrissey is now ‘vegan’ and calling out Oxford labs? Pretty great…let’s hope he is actually vegan at this point. Could be.

- Since setting up my new bike I been checking out Fixed Gear Gallery for daily inspiration. And visit Mike Giant’s Count Trackula blog for bikes and amazing tattoos. The guy has skill. His new shirt company Rebel 8 seems to be doing well.
