Thanks for your support and time these seven years.
I'm going to take a break and focus on both my agency
                blog and SKATEDAILY.net
                as well as other things.

 It's been fun. Maybe I'll
                see you soon.

 - Please join me in welcoming Holden Brian Czahor to the world.
                Congratulations to his proud parents.

 - I hope everyone had a great holiday. Here's a flashback to one
                of my holiday
favorites TV wise. Every word in the song is classic.

 - I'm jealous of the weather back here in the Bay Area. I forgot
how wonderful it is this time of year weather wise.

 - On a plane up to San Francisco yesterday I was able to finish
                Born
Standing Up by Steve Martin. Highly recommended reading. Although
he could have gone into a few more details for the long time fans
picking this up. His writing style is incredibly sharp and witty,
but I couldn't help but feel he skimmed the surface a bit. then
again, he's always been very private.

After reading this book and learning the great lengths he went
to make his act so creative and smart one question kept coming
up: why the hell did he make so many awful, awful films in the
past few eyars? Here's a guy who brought philosophy into stand
up and based punch lines on trying to break the laws of logic.
He wrote a play on the meeting of Picassco and Einstein (which
is amazing, I saw it) for god sake! Where do Cheaper
                By The Dozen and Bringing
Down The House fit in to his comedy method? Sort of sad really...

 Here's a recent NPR
interview focused on the book and a Comedy
Central documentary (part 1 of 6) from a while back. And check
                out a piece
of stand up from his glory days.

 - Note: This post was interupted more than once by a screaming
                baby.

 - First post on the 13th! New record I think. Fantastic.

 - After being told by many that it is the best skateboard video
of all time I finally went out and bought Fully Flared from Lakai.
Yup, it's good all right. Intros are impressive as hell. Best
of all time? Not sure about that one. I really enjoyed Alex
Olson's part (King Diamoand and much style) as well as Guy
Mariano. I do think that three songs for anyone is just too
much. Maybe even two is over doing it. I just get bored. And Marc
Johnson is close to being Rodney Mullen at this point. It's no
Yeah Right or Video Days. Sorry.

It's funny when people say something is the worst ever (Nike video)
I find good areas...when it's called the best (Flared) I find
                faults. I guess I'm a dick.

 - I
only wish I could have seen this.

 - Evel Knievel died two weeks ago. He lived quite a life. Here's
the graphic I created in case you missed
                it.
