It's
all over...the wedding, the brunch, the pre-honeymoon in Seattle. All
of it is over.
The wedding went better than I could have ever hoped. Thanks to everyone
who came out...especially those who traveled great distances. It was amazing
to see everyone and have so much fun. The thanks list would be so damn
long...you know who you are. Thank you all so much.
Seattle was fantastic. I forgot how much fun that place is. The W is a
great hotel, and you just can't beat Seattle food (ok, I have to admit
SF takes the crown but still)...Globe, Wild Ginger, Mamas. Amazing. In
case you haven't checked out the EMP,
make sure to check it out. They even made Disco
super interesting (not that disco isn't...but I just liked the Skate Rock
and Yes
Y'all stuff better).
It seems like I could go on and on...but I really don't like to get too
personal on this thing...if you want to hear more drop me a line.
I've also been trying to get started on a DVD of the Portland skate trip.

new documentary is “STOKED: The Rise and Fall of Gator.” It’s
about former skateboarding star Mark “Gator” Rogowski, who is
now serving 31 years to life in prison for the rape and murder of a former

is going to be quite the month. The wedding. The Portland skate trip /
bachelor party. The after-wedding trip to Seattle.
I've been listening to the three songs on the From
Autumn To Ashes promo site over and over again. Damn good stuff. The
second song,'Lilacs & Lolita' sounds like (one of my old favorites)
Lifetime with some Botch thrown in. 9.9.03 release date.
Got handed the new September issue of Transworld Snowboarding yesterday.
Yuck. After reading page after page of 'bling-bling' and viewing countless
photos of rich kids with stylish long shag haircuts wearing gold chains
and posing with their hoodies up, I remember why I got bummed on the 'snow-bro-show'.
(That was a mouthful). I remember from 89-97 I LIVED to snowboard. No
attitudes, just fun. I watched Upping
The Ante last night just to remember those times. Anyway, snowboarding
is still fun. The false style is not.
If Ashton Kutcher
stars in a Dukes of Hazzard movie, I'm going to kill someone. And
Brittany Spears as Daisy? OK, that makes sense...but there's no reason
for a Dukes movie. Or a new Texas
Chainsaw Massacre film, or Evil
Dead film , or even Get
Smart.
