This is a sad day for free speech and all activism. 3/2/2006 9:21 PM. Jury convicts animal welfare activists TRENTON, N.J. (AP) An animal-rights group and six members were convicted Thursday of using their website to incite threats, harassment and vandalism against a company that tests drugs and household products on animals. The group, Stop Huntington Animal Cruelty, maintained its actions were protected under the First Amendment. + - These 7 did NOT commit the actions described, but simply ran a website and group educating people about Huntington. - Crossing state lines to protest is now a federal offense. - If you run a website and post anything anti-government or anti-corporate you could be next. - This site is most likely under FBI watch. - Yours is next.
